Role Overview
Pinnacle Alliances is looking for a Compliance Manager to lead healthcare staffing compliance, credentialing, documentation, audit readiness, and onboarding compliance processes. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that candidate documentation, licenses, certifications, background checks, health records, references, and other required credentials are collected, verified, tracked, and completed as per client and healthcare staffing requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, process ownership, documentation accuracy, team management, and knowledge of U.S. healthcare staffing compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
Compliance Process Management
- Manage end-to-end compliance and credentialing workflow for healthcare candidates.
- Ensure all candidate documents are collected, verified, tracked, and updated before placement or start date.
- Create and maintain compliance checklists by client, role, state, specialty, and facility requirement.
- Monitor pending documentation and ensure timely completion.
- Reduce compliance delays and candidate start-date risks.
Credentialing & Documentation
- Oversee collection and verification of documents such as licenses, certifications, education records, work authorization, employment history, references, background checks, drug tests, immunization records, TB tests, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, health records, and other client-specific documents.
- Ensure documentation is complete, valid, current, and properly stored.
- Track document expiration dates and renewal requirements.
- Maintain credentialing records with high accuracy.
Team Management
- Lead Compliance Specialists and documentation support team members.
- Assign compliance cases and monitor workload.
- Train team members on documentation standards, verification steps, client requirements, and compliance workflows.
- Review team performance and resolve process issues.
- Support recruiters and account managers with compliance updates.
Audit Readiness
- Maintain compliance files for internal and external audits.
- Ensure records are organized, complete, and easy to review.
- Prepare audit reports and documentation summaries.
- Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of candidate information.
Client & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with Account Managers, Team Leads, Recruiters, candidates, and clients.
- Clarify compliance requirements from clients when needed.
- Share compliance status updates with internal stakeholders.
- Escalate missing or delayed documents.
- Help ensure selected candidates are ready before assignment start date.
Process Improvement
- Build standard operating procedures for compliance and credentialing.
- Improve tracking systems, reminders, checklists, and reporting formats.
- Reduce manual errors and improve documentation turnaround time.
- Support management in building a scalable compliance department.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in healthcare staffing compliance, credentialing, or documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to manage compliance team and multiple candidate files.
- Good understanding of licenses, certifications, background checks, health records, and onboarding documents.
- Strong Excel, Google Sheets, ATS, CRM, and documentation tracking skills.
- Ability to work in U.S. shift / night shift.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in U.S. healthcare staffing compliance.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission-style documentation standards, client audits, and healthcare credentialing workflows.
- Experience managing nurse, allied health, locum, billing, coding, and healthcare support compliance files.
- Experience with compliance management systems or ATS platforms.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, HR, Business Administration, Commerce, Life Sciences, or related field.
Detailed Experience Requirement
4 to 8 years in healthcare compliance, credentialing, onboarding, staffing compliance, or documentation management.
